A new build commercial site in Suffolk for a leading supplier of electronics to the motorsport industry. Working alongside the architect with the management team at Renvale from the very start of the project on aspects of the layout and how the overall building should look.
The company branding and client sector played a big part in selection of colours and finishes in keeping with the high end marketplace in which Renvale operates.
Employees needs were a big consideration and creating a workplace where people were rewarded for their hard work. The technical stations in the workshop are laid out in an ergonomic way with good lighting, magnetic low glare backboards and tool storage.
The lighting scheme throughout the building has been designed to be functional but also stylish with feature lighting in public areas.
The kitchen design for the staff room along with seating arrangements was all part of the remit along with lockers and all staff facilities.
The boardroom was designed to emerge visitors into the space and maintain focus with the ability to view the workshop at the flick of a switch with an intelligent glass window. We split the space between the viewing area and the technical office with a partial wall allowing a glimpse of the working space.
Various wallcoverings were specified and repeated throughout the building to add definition to areas. Large images relevant to the industry were purchased and blown up into large scale murals as focal points. The new building has had a positive impact on the award winning business and workforce.
